Simon's tree planting ceremony - May 25, 2012

Simon's two schools in Webster came together to plant a tree in his honor. Simon died at the age of 11 on October 23, 2011. He lived on our street and was Grace's best friend.

Noah's orchestra and chorus concert - May 22, 2012

Noah played in his last orchestra concert. He is giving up the cello after two years.

Grace lax Brighton - May 20, 2012

Grace's Webster team played in the Muddy's Buddies lacrosse tournament. They played three games and won all of them. Grace had fun despite the soaring temperatures!

Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester - Mother's Day 5K - May 13, 2012

Grace ran the BCCR 5K on Mother's Day. She ran for my mom who is a breast cancer survivor. She smoked it - 24:37!

Flower City Half Marathon - April 29, 2012

Yes, it was my second half marathon in April and within a two week span. I had trained with Fleet Feet (a local running store) and met some great folks along the way. I was fighting shin splints, so I opted to walk/run and not worry about my time. I hadn't met these three lovely ladies when I started training in January, and as you can see we had a blast!

McKenzie turns 9 - April 22, 2012

We celebrated McKenzie's 9th birthday at Shannon and Jack's house in Syracuse. The kids had fun posing for the obligatory cousin photo!

More+Fitness Half Marathon in NYC - April 15, 2012

I participated in an all women's half marathon in NYC - 8000 women ran the course through Central Park. Shannon invited me along with her friends, and we had a great time shopping and running.

Justin pitches in Rochester - April 11, 2012

Justin is now playing for Pawtucket. He was the starting pitcher against the Rochester Red Wings. The whole Germano family went out to see him on a chilly 37 degree night.

Easter Sunday - April 8, 2012

We celebrated Easter at Stacy's house this year. After we had brunch, the kids headed outside for some fun!

Grace Select Music Concert - March 27, 2012

Grace was invited to participate in the select music concert. She played with three other clarinet players. They all wore pink to stand out as a group. 

EOY celebration - March 23, 2012

Noah's hockey team had their end of year celebration at the Webster Ice Arena. In addition to pizza and cake, each player was honored by Coach DeYoung with a special award. Noah's was the B.O.B. and Red Bull award - his trick was to bounce the puck off the boards and head down the ice to score, and he never quit so Coach thought he was taking an energy drink to keep going!

Niagara Falls - March 18, 2012

We took advantage of being in Buffalo for Noah's hockey tournament and went to Niagara Falls, Canada on Sunday. It was unseasonably warm as you can see from how the kids are dressed! We had fun walking around town and checking out the Falls.

Noah's Webster Squirt B team played in a hockey tournament in Buffalo this weekend. He had fun playing but also in the hotel pool!

Grace swims Golds - March 16, 2012

Grace qualified for the Golds Meet this year. She swam in three events and did very well. We are so proud of her!
